Adrian Pole studied law at the University of Natal (Howard College), where he served on the Students’ Representative Council and Law Students’ Council. After graduation with a BA.LLB, he spent a period working in the human rights non-governmental sector before attending the Law Society’s School for Legal Practice in 1995. Adrian Pole served his articles at Henwood, Britter & Caney, and was admitted as an attorney in 1997. In 1999, he travelled to the United Kingdom, and worked for a period as a foreign qualified lawyer in Canterbury and London.
In 2001, Adrian Pole obtained a Masters Degree in Environment and Development (UNP), which was awarded cum laude and with a Dean’s commendation. Adrian Pole completed a Master of Laws (Environmental Law) degree in 2014. Between 2002 and 2004, Adrian Pole practised as an environmental justice attorney at the Legal Resources Centre (LRC) in Durban, before joining Rob Menzies & Associates as a Director.
Adrian Pole has been specialising in environmental law since 2001, and established his own practice in 2005. He currently practices out of offices in Assagay, near Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Adrian is also a SAATCA registered auditor.
